Some may wonder who in the world is Dave's Energy. So today, I'm here to tell you who I am and my company, "Dave's Energy Solutions, D.E.S.."
I started out my career in the energy space, September 26th, 2016. At this time, I didn't know much about energy, solar, power, or any of it. I was not great on the computer and had no idea what really being an entrepreneur meant. I just knew a few basic things. I didn't have to plug in my lights in the garden area because they were solar. I had a solar panel that would help keep my quad's battery charged and I didn't have to plug that in either. The sun hit the panel and the battery was charging. Awesome right? I started thinking, what else could we use solar on, and noticed there were tons of different solar products out there. Dreams of building solar Cities, and how cheap energy would be.
Then one day, just after moving to Washington, I was scanning the net and saw a video about this company called Powur, PBC. They were talking about how we could do good for our planet, and how Jonathan Budd, the Founder had this wild vision of empowering the world with solar energy and removing CO2 from our planet while helping homeowners save money by switching to solar energy.
I got super excited and knew I had to get involved!
Then the reality set in. I was broke and they were asking for $499, to sign up. I thought, how am I gonna do that. I'm broke and disabled. I was really in a state of depression and something was telling me that this was something that would give me the purpose I was looking for and get out of that negative state of mind. I was so pumped up and excited by the feeling these leaders gave me in my heart.
So I pulled almost all of the money together to get signed up in a day. But, didn't reach my goal of the whole amount. Now, I don't know what it was about me exactly, but the guy I spoke to helped me with the last little bit. I was blown away. Why would this guy do that? I thought to myself. But was extremely grateful and wanted to make sure I gave it my all.
Along the way, I have learned so so much! I've learned about solar, technology, energy, power, and a variety of products. I've learned and am still learning constantly about products and service, new tech, and I owe every bit of that to Powur. It's an Honor to be an Independent Powur Consultant! I have also gained much knowledge about the internet and software platforms, networking, and so so much more. I'm always excited to see the next change and innovation in the companies I work alongside.
In recent days, I have aligned myself and my company with the best of multiple resources and products so that I can grow and offer more to the world. Now able to offer services in 41 US states. Currently focused on, but not limited to residential rooftop Solar Energy, and Storage.
